What my business does I help teams work better together. Through keynotes, facilitated team building, and executive coaching, I give leaders and their people practical tools to communicate clearly, own their results, and appreciate each other. I’m a former basketball coach with 20+ years on the sidelines, and I bring that real game experience into every room. I’ve worked with Cisco, John Deere, the CDC, Emory University, and Ecolab, with groups from 8 to 800 people. I’m also the author of several leadership books, including Rapid Teamwork and What Effective Leaders DO. What makes me different Most team building is recreational. People have fun on Friday and nothing changes on Monday. I design intentional, facilitated experiences that shift how people see each other, because awareness changes behavior and behavior changes culture. I call this Profitable Fluff: it feels like fun, but it’s built to produce results. Everything runs on the G.R.E.A.T. culture model (Goals, Relationships, Expectations, Accountability, Thanks), so leaders walk out with a simple framework they can use the next morning. My test is the Monday Morning Test. If people aren’t doing something differently when they get back to work, I didn’t do my job.
