Job Purpose To apply specialist SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) expertise under minimal direction within SAP projects and technical initiatives. The role is responsible for designing, developing, supporting and maintaining enterprise planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics solutions that meet business requirements. The consultant will engage with stakeholders to define requirements, architect solutions, develop SAC applications, models and stories, and support the broader SAP Analytics and Business Intelligence landscape. Job Responsibilities 1. Design, develop and support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting solutions. 2. Develop enterprise dashboard, reporting and analytical solutions using SAC Stories and Analytic Applications. 3. Model data within SAC and optimize analytical models for performance and scalability. 4. Design and implement SAC planning models, versions, allocations, data actions and advanced formulas. 5. Develop and maintain SAC scripting solutions within Analytic Applications. 6. Implement planning and forecasting capabilities aligned to business requirements and financial processes. 7. Design and consume virtual data sources, live data connections and federated analytics architectures. 8. Integrate SAC with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud and S/4HANA landscapes. 9. Design and maintain data models within SAP Datasphere where applicable. 10. Develop end-to-end analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere and SAC. 11. Leverage Just Ask, Joule and AI-assisted analytics capabilities to improve business insights and user experience. 12. Support and optimize AI-driven analytics, search and natural language query capabilities within SAC. 13. Work closely with Project Managers, Business Teams and SAP Functional Consultants to architect and deliver analytics solutions. 14. Translate business requirements into scalable planning, analytics and reporting solutions. 15. Develop and support Analysis for Office (AFO) workbooks and reporting solutions. 16. Support migration and modernization initiatives from legacy SAP BI, BOBJ and AFO solutions to SAC. 17. Provide input into enterprise analytics architecture and SAP reporting strategy. 18. Investigate and implement enhancements that improve solution performance, usability and adoption. 19. Perform solution design, development, testing and deployment activities across project lifecycles. 20. Support production incidents and resolve complex analytics and planning issues. 21. Monitor application performance and recommend continuous improvements. 22. Contribute to quality and financial goals by operating within agreed budgets and Service Level Agreements. 23. Deliver to stakeholders with an appropriate level of urgency. 24. Work under limited supervision while supporting project objectives and deliverables. 25. Highlight potential project and solution risks to project management and stakeholders. 26. Act as a technical integration specialist across SAC, Datasphere, BW/4HANA and related SAP technologies. 27. Provide technical leadership on planning, forecasting and analytics design decisions. 28. Consult on SAP Analytics Cloud best practices, governance and standards. 29. Provide input and oversight into testing, deployment and implementation activities. 30. Share knowledge and promote best practices across the SAP Analytics community. 31. Provide input into identifying dependencies between projects, support initiatives and strategic programmes. 32. Identify, assess and mitigate risks relating to analytics and planning solutions. 33. Drive problem resolution and continuous improvement initiatives. 34. Apply disciplined delivery practices and effectively prioritise competing activities. 35. Utilise information from multiple sources to support decision-making and problem- solving. 36. Resolve complex technical and business challenges using innovative approaches. 37. Maintain and contribute to team knowledge repositories and standards. 38. Continually develop expertise in SAC, Datasphere, AI capabilities, Business Data Cloud and SAP analytics technologies. Additional Responsibilities 1. Coach and mentor team members in SAC, planning, forecasting, Datasphere and SAP analytics technologies. 2. Prepare and maintain technical specifications, process procedures, test scripts, user documentation and training materials. 3. Participate in Nedbank culture-building initiatives and contribute towards transformation objectives. 4. Participate in and support corporate social responsibility initiatives. 5. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and policies and support implementation thereof. 6. Promote innovation through adoption of AI, Joule, Just Ask and advanced analytics capabilities. 7. Support the development of analytics standards, governance frameworks and reusable assets across the SAP landscape.
