Data Compliance Specialist

We offer a market-related, Total Remuneration Package a great work environment, and a promise that you won’t be bored as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great</p> <p><strong>This role reports to the Data Compliance Team leader and is a unique opportunity to work in a high-performance Specialist B2B &amp; B2C environment supporting the Takealot group.</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Address and escalate Data Subject requests via all applicable incoming channels.</li> <li>Engage with relevant stakeholders to resolve tracking of data requests.</li> <li>Conduct eligibility checks for Data requests.</li> <li>Provide ideas/actions to drive process &amp; system improvement about data subject contacts across the Takealot.group</li> <li>Manage/adhere all SLAs about POPI data requests.</li> <li>Carry out internal audit procedures regularly about internal compliance practices including SOPs &amp; Policy changes for new and existing features across brands.</li> <li>Review and identify data subject information to support the Information Officer.</li> <li>Work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp;

Experience required
