If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you!</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong><strong><br></strong>The purpose of this role is to execute, manage and improve our operations support functions.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <p><strong>Operational Support and Efficiency:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in managing day-to-day operations across various business verticals within MrD, contributing to smooth and efficient trade operations.</li> <li>Map existing "as-is" operational workflows, identify systemic inefficiencies, and design optimised "to-be" process architectures</li> <li>Leverage AI-powered automation tools to partially or fully automate manual processes.</li> <li>Structure and write clear operational guides for two distinct audiences: step-by-step SOPs for human teams and structured rule-sets/prompts for AI agents.</li> <li>Evaluate operational health through a process-driven lens, continuously monitoring and optimising the performance, accuracy, and quality of tasks handled by human teams and AI agents</li> <li>Participate in the implementation and refinement of operational processes to boost trading efficiency on the MrD platform.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes, using data to inform and guide decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Analysis and Reporting:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analysis of operational data to generate actionable insights aimed at improving customer experience, efficiency and cost optimisation</li> <li>Support in collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.</li> <li>Automate manual and routine reporting workflows leverage generative AI tools</li> <li>Build, update and refine operational dashboards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Attributes required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical ability supported by solid Excel skills, showcasing the capability to dissect data and derive meaningful insights.</li> <li>Ability to identify areas of improvement, indicating a proactive stance towards enhancing processes and outcomes.</li> <li>Enterprising spirit and ability to take ownership of tasks, reflecting a drive to innovate and lead initiatives.</li> <li>Willingness to buy into the requirements of a fast-paced start-up environment, with an understanding that peak activity may occur after traditional hours, highlighting flexibility and dedication.</li> <li>Ability to verbalize as well as visualize findings and results, emphasizing the importance of clear and effective communication, both verbally and through visual means.</li> <li>Strong team player, indicating the importance of collaboration and mutual support within a team setting.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant bachelor’s degree in commerce, engineering, finance or related field.</li> <li>At least 3 years’ of experience in operations, particularly in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, Operations focused Management Consulting or a related fast-paced industry.</li> <li>Proficiency in advanced Excel</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL or Python, Zendesk, Looker, Process Mapping Tools is advantageous</li> </ul> <p><strong>Let’s talk about life @ Mr D</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>The power is in your hands</strong>: We offer a market-related, Total Remuneration Package which allows full flexibility according to your needs.
