This position ensures zero-defect platform setup, course cloning, cohort management, and strict quality assurance across all presentation lifecycles. By leading cross-functional delivery operations and driving continuous process improvements, this role guarantees operational continuity, academic integrity, and exceptional partner and learner outcomes.</p> <p class="p2"><strong>Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Presentation Setup &amp; Delivery Operations <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end presentation setup, environment cloning, and master curriculum synchronization across live production platforms in alignment with Course Requirements Trackers.</li> <li>Oversee module release schedules, access gates, and cohort calendars to uphold university partner operating standards.</li> <li>Manage the configuration of gradebook algorithms, weighted evaluation criteria, and provisional grade release schedules to automate completion certification workflows.</li> <li>Direct the integration of custom LTIs,&nbsp; third party educational technology tools, including identity verification modules and social annotation platforms.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Cohort Dynamics &amp; Active Launch Execution&nbsp; <ul> <li>Oversee dynamic cohort balancing, automated learner enrollment pipelines, and late-enrollment workflows across Class Groups, Small Groups, and Marking Groups.</li> <li>Coordinate the automated deployment of instructional discussion threads, welcome posts, and collaborative prompts on behalf of academic facilitation teams.</li> <li>Monitor post-launch group stabilization and execute manual group adjustments to maintain optimal facilitator-to-learner ratios.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Governance, Quality Assurance &amp; Escalation Management&nbsp; <ul> <li>Establish multi-tiered quality assurance protocols – including infrastructure, timeline, and peer-review gates – to guarantee zero-defect presentation launches.</li> <li>Manage delivery risks, operational dependencies, and critical platform escalations to minimize impact on university partners and learner cohorts.</li> <li>Audit production workspace environments prior to official launch dates to validate learner visibility, permission hierarchies, and forum post fidelity.</li> <li>Drive accountability and effective engagement between 2U and third-party vendors on course build, delivery and escalation management.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Operational Leadership &amp; Process Optimization&nbsp; <ul> <li>Manage multidisciplinary content and technical product delivery teams, creating structure, accountability, and consistent execution across complex operational workstreams.</li> <li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating AI-assisted workflows and process enhancements to reduce turnaround times and increase operational capacity.</li> <li>Develop strategic performance metrics, service level agreement (SLA) tracking, and executive reporting for senior academic and operational leadership.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p class="p2"><strong>Things That Should Be In Your Background:</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of experience in online education operations, educational technology, or complex technical service delivery, with at least 3+ years in a management capacity.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.</li> <li>Deep technical proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), automated data pipelines, gradebook architecture, and LTI integrations.</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in project management, SLA governance, process optimization, and senior stakeholder management within global higher education settings.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits &amp; Culture</strong></p> <p class="p1">Our global employee base is a diverse collection of innovators, dreamers, and doers working together to transform lives through higher education.
