Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic, driven, and experienced Sales Specialist who thrives on building trusted relationships with CFOs / Financials Managers and senior decision-makers, understanding a customer needs and ability to provide solutions by Selling Credit Guarantee’s products and adhere to FAIS compliance.Set up first meeting with prospect or make contact with a prospect once a lead has come in. Identify if there is need for Trade Credit insurance, listen to the prospect needs.
Obtain all information to provide a quote. Once information has been obtained, do an analysis of the data, check against the financial statements.
Attention to detail, communication and negotiation skills and customer centricity is of utmost importance. Once quote is issued, present the quote to the prospect or Introductory broker.
Must be clear on providing advice. Once the quote is accepted, provide policy and online training.
Complete record of advice and all admin.Continuous improvement to ensure effective serviceEnsure statutory and legislative knowledge is always current in order to resolve customer complaints, to advise the business on corrective solutions to mitigate risks and to improve the customer experience whilst complying with governance requirements.Ensure adherence to organisational policies, practices and procedures.Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiencyService delivery to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain service, quality and desired outputs within a specific functional process through ensuring compliance to tactical policies, procedures and standards.Establish productive operational relationships with key stakeholders in the various channels and administrative teams.Develop work routines in line with operational plans / schedules in order to manage achievement of service delivery goals.Share knowledge on, and participate in the creation of new standards, control systems and procedures to maintain service delivery. Cost control and governance adherenceProactively ensure use of time, of resources, money, materials or equipment is in line with policies and procedures.Comply with corporate governance policies, procedures and standards.Quality people practicesAlign own behaviour with the organisation culture and values.Share and transfer product, process and systems knowledge to colleagues.Ensure achievement of own performance objectives.Actively share information with other team members regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas.Actively participate in own professional development and career path.Actively promote a culture of learning and high performance culture amongst team members.Development and Distribution ManagerA post-Matric qualification equivalent to NQF Level 7 in Commerce majoring in Business Economics/ Accounting/ Finance/ Credit Management or another related field.FAIS Accredited – Must meet and understand regulatory fit and proper requirements.Must understand a business set of financial statementsMinimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders.Strong analytical, record keeping, minutes Time management and prioritizing high volumes of workEnglish literacy and correspondence skillsValid code 8 driver's licence older than 12 monthsGood communication skills, written and verbalExperience in insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry is advantageous
Requirements
Grade 12 with Insurance Level IV qualification.
